Hillhurst United Church is seeking an organist/pianist to work with the Music Director and worship team, to provide organ and piano accompaniment for the worship service and choir. If you are enthusiastic about participating in an engaging Music Ministry opportunity and enjoy working in a vibrant, Affirming Church environment, then this position may be for you. The successful candidate will have experience playing a three manual organ; ability to play a variety of music styles; proficiency in playing contemporary sacred and secular music. The organist/pianist will work approximately 6 to 8 hours per week and should be available for choir rehearsals, worship services, weddings, and funerals as required. This is a contract position available effective Sept 1, 2010.
